About the Computer Science Wireless Network
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Computer Science Department at Florida State University is pleased to announce the availability of Wireless Network Service to it's students. Using the latest in wireless network technology IEEE 802.11b coverage is available in most classrooms where Computer Science classes are taught.
Members of the Computer Science community who have a laptop, PDA, or other 802.11b compatible device will be able to connect to the Internet in most classrooms and communal areas around the Love and Carothers building. The programs intent is to bring Internet connectivity to the classroom, giving students the ability to use a classes digital content at their own desk.
