Support to SSH 3.2 Terminated

Secure Shell Client 3.2 from ssh.com is no longer supported by CS servers. CS users should upgrade their SSH client to Tectia. Please check the news to the right for details.

CSWLAN Upgraded

  • News

The latest code 8.3 has been installed on CSWLAN wireless controller and access points. The code addresses KRACK attack. EAPOL-Key Max Retries also disabled to protect unpatched wireless clients.

New SSH Secure Shell – Tectia

Computer Science spent $30k on new SSH Secure Shell Client program, Tectia. All CS users can download it for free. Please visit “SSH How To” page for details.

New Projector and Lectern in LOV151

  • News

A new interactive projection system and a wooden lectern with built in microphones were installed in LOV151. The new system gives presenter more options to impress their audiences using various interactive features. Come and check it out.

New TA/RA offices and PCs

  • News

We got rooms 335 – 340 in Dittmer Building for our TAs and RAs. We also purchased over 50 new PCs and chairs for the offices.

dbsrv2 updated

Mysql on dbsrv2 has been updated to MariaDB 5.5 to match the mysql on dbsrv.

New Shell Server

A new server shell.cs.fsu.edu replaced old shell.cs.fsu.edu. It runs CentOS 7.2 Linux. When you ssh to the server, you may see ssh key change warning. You may need to remove old shell.cs.fsu.edu host key before you can accept the new host key. Contact Systems Group if you have… New Shell Server
