Computer Science Labs
The department operates labs in the Love building and the Carothers building. The primary computer labs available to CS students are the Majors Lab and the Grad Lab.
Computer labs are in enclosed spaces. If you are concerned with the Corona Virus safety, we strongly recommend you wear a high quality mask. High quality masks include N95/KN95/KF94 masks. Cloth masks are less effective in filtering out of the viruses.
About the Majors Lab
The Majors Lab is located in LOV025 inside lobby of LOV006 in the basement of Love Building. It is accessible to Computer Science major students. The lab is a staffed computer lab with fixed hours. On a space-available basis, other students currently taking a CS course may also use the lab. A valid CS account is required for accessing lab computers.
To use the lab, please make sure:
- Do not bring food or fountain drinks into the lab.
- No trash bin in the lab. Please take your trash to outside trash bins and keep the lab clean.

Also available is a laser printer (named ‘majors’) and a scanner with top feeder. Undergraduate students can print up to 250 pages for free each semester.
